A few years back, my writing journey began, leading me to self-publish three books. Embracing the format of rhyming short story poems, I find myself writing almost daily. Inspiration often arises from memories, activities, current events, or dreams. As I navigate my seventh decade, I draw from a vast reservoir of memories, though sometimes my recollection is fleeting unless I jot it down.

 

Early on, I engaged with people while delivering newspapers in the neighborhood, always finding their stories captivating. A lengthy career in sales as an adult only deepened my appreciation for the ever-changing tapestry of life.
